A few weeks ago I had the unique opportunity to sit down "over the phone' with David Southwell from the Daily Mail Australia to discuss my history. It was an engaging conversation that delved into my journey, insights, and experiences. As someone passionate about advocating for transparency and accountability, I was eager to share my story and perspectives with a wider audience.
On November 25, 2025, an article sharing my story was published by David Southwell in the Daily Mail Australia. While I’ve been wrestling with waves of anxiety and questioning, “What have I done?” since its release, I find comfort in knowing that David has skillfully captured not just my words, but their deeper intent.
For me, this moment signifies a sense of closure. Over the years, it became clear that neither The Southport School nor the Anglican Church Southern Queensland would provide the justice, acknowledgment, or accountability I sought. This article stands as a testament to my truth—a voice I can finally call my own.
Telling my story has allowed me to reflect on the journey that led to this moment and what it means moving forward.
